Plugged Art Collective is now accepting submissions for the 2008 Her Shorts Women's International Video Festival. This festival is dedicated to showcasing new video art created by emerging and established women artists from the USA and abroad. Call to Filmmakers: Tallahassee Film Festival Invites Community Members to Create Short Films

24-Hour Film Contest provides non-filmmakers opportunity to learn film process. Members of the Tallahassee Film Festival call on the general public and local area professionals to participate in its first 24-Hour Film Contest for non-filmmakers. The contest provides the community with the chance to be a part of the film process from conception to viewing by offering contestants training seminars and the opportunity to create and submit their own short film.
