Applications are still being accepted for the city's 21st annual Winter Festival. The event takes place from 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, and features a lighting ceremony, the Jingle Bell Run, the Holiday Parade, five stages of local entertainment and a new children's activity area. Applications are being accepted for food vending, arts-and-crafts booths, exhibitor booths, the youth tree-decoration contest and festival volunteering.
